Limpide candle was born from a simple question: how to create a healthier home?

Among the products that I use daily, a candle is my favourite way to unwind from the chaos that life can sometimes be. After some research, I noticed that it is hard to find what ingredients leading brands combine in their candles (especially candles that I was using at home). So, I bought some candle-making kits and learnt everything about the process.

I started Limpide candle to create earth-friendly products and wish to share this passion with you. All candles are hand-poured in London, with 100% soy wax, natural wooden wicks and premium fragrance oils infused with essential oils made for a healthier clean burn.

Behind the scenes, Limpide candle is a small batch, black-owned candle commerce run with a passion for craft, design and a desire to give back to our community by supporting charities and foundations. And we want you to be part of it.

For every purchased candle, Limpide candle will be donating 10% of the profit to charities and associations.

 Meet the founder

Hi! I’m Ludovic, I’m French Caribbean (yoop - yoop) & a Londoner for the past 8 years but… my heart stays in Lyon - France, where my family reside.
I started Limpide candle because I developed asthma when I was a child and I’m always trying to be more conscious of my surrounding while having a good time.
When not making earth - friendly candles, you will find me going out with friends around London, taking black and white photography, learning how to dance, travelling (when it’s possible), beating my friends at board games, cycling and managing events around London.
